Collin Todd, CFP®

Principal & Financial Planner

I became interested in financial planning and investment management after discovering socially responsible investing in 2008.  Here was an opportunity to help hard-working people meld their financial goals with their social and environmental values. Since then, I have worked with individuals and families to create and implement comprehensive financial and investment plans that meet their unique needs.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM who works exclusively on a fee-only basis I love that I am able to utilize my training and experience without having to sell financial products. Whether I am helping a client purchase their first home, understand their investments, or design a charitable giving strategy, clients know that I am there to help them make informed decisions. My clients appreciate my role as a fiduciary advisor and their access to sustainable and impact investments that contribute to corporate responsibility.

I enjoy being involved in my community and have served on numerous non-profit boards that focus on conservation, youth outdoor education, urban sustainable living practices, and land use planning. I currently serve on the board of Conservation Voters for Idaho where we work to promote conservation through voter education and supporting pro-conservation candidates.

My wife Sam is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and in our spare time we enjoy making the most of all Boise has to offer including biking in the foothills, skiing, camping and rafting.

Operations Manager

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas as an avid swimmer and soccer player. For college I attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia graduating with a degree in biology and specializing in environmental studies. From Virginia I moved to Jackson, Wyoming where I met my now husband Josh. From there we moved a lot while Josh pursued medicine and I began a great work chapter working for Trader Joe’s. After seven years on the East coast we were delighted to move back out West to be closer to mountains.

We have two wild kids ages two and four along with an Australian Shephard mix.

I am delighted to now be part of Arc Advisers and look forward to working with everyone. For fun I love trail running, baking, dogs of all sizes, gardening and exploring the outdoors.
